Know Immigrants' Rights-Conozca Los Derechos

How does this help?- ¿Cómo ayuda esto?

Knowing immigrants' rights protects you and your community. For immigrants, it can help keep them safe from unjust detention or deportation. For allies, it means being able to step in with support, speak up when something’s wrong, and help others navigate intimidating situations.

Contact Your Representatives

How does this help?

It might feel small, but writing letters and calling your representatives is one of the most direct ways to apply pressure where it counts. Every message becomes part of the public record that proves they’ve been informed of our concerns.

The Senate will soon vote on a major reconciliation bill “Big Beautiful Bill” that would allow the administration to expand ICE operations and immigrant detention facilities. Ask your senators to vote no.

Advocacy and Education

How does this help?

Discourse is powerful. It brings awareness to injustices that many people still don’t realize are happening. Our current immigration system violates basic principles of justice and reflects a broader pattern of racism, xenophobia, and systemic harm. Having difficult but necessary conversations about this helps keep our communities safer by changing minds and hearts.

How Does Sharing on Social Media Help?

Spreading awareness online helps keep these stories in the public eye, inspires action and keeps immigrant families safe. It also helps counter misinformation and reminds the public that these are not isolated incidents.

Boycott

How does this help?

How we spend our money reflects what we value. Boycotting is a peaceful but powerful way to say: I will not support this. When we choose not to spend on companies that fund or profit from injustice, we’re helping shift the flow of money away from harm and toward accountability.

Prayer

How does this help?

Prayer is a way to hold space for those who are suffering and to send love across distance.

[Respective Diety],

We pray for every person facing detention, separation from family, and deep hardship.
We ask that they be wrapped in love across all walls and borders.
We pray for their protection, and strength, especially for children facing inhumane treatment.
May they feel seen and never alone.
We ask that justice comes swiftly, that reunions come soon, and that compassion guides the hand and hearts of those who have the power to create a just immigration process.

Amen.
